This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was evident throughout our stay, from the stunning views that greeted us in our room to the optional outside bath with a magnificent view. The rooms were spacious and provided all the basic amenities we needed, including a bathroom with a stunning view. The breakfast, with its freshly baked bread, was simply fantastic and left us wanting more.
Everything was perfect.

I recently had a truly memorable stay at this hotel. the attention to detail and value for money were outstanding. The rooms were not only spacious and comfortable, but they also boasted magnificent views of the surrounding landscape, including the Pacific Ocean. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom, which also offered stunning views. Additionally, the homemade breakfast served here was absolutely fantastic, with freshly baked bread that was simply delicious.
All was perfect at this hotel.

Stunning views and modern rooms, delicious breakfasts, and excellent hosts make this hotel a standout. The location is away from the busy tourist areas, providing a peaceful setting. The cleanliness of the rooms is top-notch, and the hotel facilities are well-maintained. The staff is knowledgeable about the local area and gave tips on the best places to visit on my way back to Auckland.
Nothing, all excellent.

The property was surrounded by beautiful landscapes, with amazing views of the water. The room was intimate and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a romantic atmosphere. The host was very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations on where to eat and what to see nearby. the location was perfect, close to both the beach and local attractions.
The bathroom had a musty smell, and the shower had mold growing in the corners. The towels provided were old and stained, and the overall cleanliness of the room was poor.

This hidden gem up in the hills is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The incredible views from the outdoor seating areas outside the bedrooms made mornings a delight. The locally sourced breakfast was delicious with one highlight being the delightful homemade oat biscuits. The location was the perfect balance of being a quiet retreat while still being only a short drive away from attractions.
The steep drive up to the retreat may be intimidating for some, but the stunning views once you arrive make it all worth it. The shared spaces such as the lounge were cozy but could use a little more modern touches to match the beautiful aesthetic of the bedrooms.

Located in a tranquil area away from the hustle and bustle of tourist hotspots, this retreat provides a serene and relaxing environment. With panoramic views of the surroundings, this place offers a perfect blend of nature and luxury. The rooms are cosy, tidy and well-appointed with thoughtful touches like homemade biscuits and a communal lounge with a wide range of entertainment options. The hearty breakfasts, cooked to perfection by the friendly hosts, offer a delightful start to the day.
Though the parking facilities are available, the steep hill leading up to the parking area could be a daunting challenge for some guests.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming bed and breakfast in New Zealand. The hotel's attention to detail was truly impressive. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff and their adorable dog. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with stunning views of the surrounding area. I particularly loved the private external bath tub, where I could relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery. The hotel also had great facilities, including a large lounge area with a fridge full of refreshments. But what really stole the show was the breakfast. The homemade bread was absolutely fantastic, and it was clear that a lot of care and effort went into preparing the meal.
All was in good order.
